Your tasks at AKG
- The two-year trainee program combines a broad, cross-departmental training program with the opportunity to gain expertise and practical experience in the areas of sales and project planning.
- It is divided into three phases:
- Overview (approx. 4 weeks): Goals, organization, processes, and interrelationships among the individual departments
- Cross-departmental orientation (approx. 12 months): You will get to know various departments through assignments lasting several days or weeks and take on your first tasks and projects.
- Specialization in “Cooling System Project Planning”: You will deepen your knowledge in the areas of project planning and sales and take on responsibility for your own projects. A multi-week assignment at one of the AKG Group’s international subsidiaries is also planned.
Responsibilities in the specialization area:
- Supporting and advising existing customers, as well as acquiring new customers
- Technical product development and product customization according to customer requirements
- Complete project management from quote preparation to series production, including:
- Technical calculation and design of heat exchangers
- Commercial calculation and optimization of customer-specific solutions
- Quote preparation
Internal order coordination and serving as the point of contact for customers and suppliers
What we require from you
- You hold a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Diplom) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering.
- Practical experience gained through vocational training or internships, as well as experience abroad, is a plus.
- You stand out for your quick comprehension, assertiveness, determination, flexibility, and negotiation skills.
- A solution-oriented, structured, and dedicated approach to work, as well as the ability to communicate in both German and English, come naturally to you.
You are willing to travel both domestically and internationally.
