AKG do Brasil was founded in 2011 with its local sales and engineering office of the AKG Group in Belo Horizonte, and currently is executing all activities in its own manufacturing facility in the City of Lorena, São Paulo state.
Your tasks at AKG
Business Development
Identify business opportunities, develop strategies to prospect new customers and markets, and conduct sales visits to present AKG and its products.
Maintain and expand the existing customer portfolio, with a focus on the Brazilian and South American markets.
Sales, Negotiation, and Customer Relationship Management
Prepare commercial proposals, manage negotiations, and negotiate prices, lead times, commercial terms, and contracts in accordance with company guidelines.
Monitor commercial performance indicators and prepare management reports.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, conduct technical visits, and participate in trade fairs and industry events, gathering information about market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
Promote effective communication between customers and AKG’s internal departments, ensuring prompt responses to requests, problem resolution, and post-sales follow-up to strengthen relationships and customer satisfaction.
Planning and Growth
Plan commercial activities to achieve revenue targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
What we require from you
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commercial Management, or related fields.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Electrical Engineering will be considered an advantage.
Technical Knowledge (with supporting evidence/certification where applicable)
Sales and negotiation techniques.
Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.
Professional Experience
Previous experience in sales and commercial strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in companies operating in the heat transfer, refrigeration, or industrial equipment sectors.
Behavioral Skills and Languages
Fluent in Portuguese and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and results-oriented approach.
Strong organizational skills, autonomy, ability to work collaboratively, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
Availability for business travel.
