Your tasks at AKG

  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of software solutions for thermal management systems in mobile and stationary applications;
  • Capable of independently completing the development of the aforementioned software;
  • Responsible for software document management;
  • Translate simulation results into software code and integrate the code into software;
  • Maintain close collaboration with controller development teams and suppliers;
  • Conduct software verification and commissioning in the laboratory and on-site;
  • Take charge of internal and external communication activities related to software development;
  • Coordinate and clarify software requirements within requirement specifications;
  • Proactively develop new software features, and continuously optimize and iterate existing functions.
     

What we require from you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Engineering, with a major concentration in control technology or related disciplines;
  • Hands-on experience in translating control technologies into software code;
  • Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink;
  • Familiar with CAN bus, especially the SAE J1939 protocol; knowledge of CAN open protocol is preferred;
  • Basic knowledge of thermodynamics is preferred; relevant experience in thermal management systems or heat pumps is preferred;
  • Practical hardware knowledge and experience are preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience of high-voltage electrical systems are preferred;
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming is preferred;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork spirit, stress tolerance and perseverance;
  • Good English communication skills; additional German language capability is preferred;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and internationally
