Your tasks at AKG
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of software solutions for thermal management systems in mobile and stationary applications;
- Capable of independently completing the development of the aforementioned software;
- Responsible for software document management;
- Translate simulation results into software code and integrate the code into software;
- Maintain close collaboration with controller development teams and suppliers;
- Conduct software verification and commissioning in the laboratory and on-site;
- Take charge of internal and external communication activities related to software development;
- Coordinate and clarify software requirements within requirement specifications;
- Proactively develop new software features, and continuously optimize and iterate existing functions.
What we require from you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Engineering, with a major concentration in control technology or related disciplines;
- Hands-on experience in translating control technologies into software code;
- Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink;
- Familiar with CAN bus, especially the SAE J1939 protocol; knowledge of CAN open protocol is preferred;
- Basic knowledge of thermodynamics is preferred; relevant experience in thermal management systems or heat pumps is preferred;
- Practical hardware knowledge and experience are preferred;
- Knowledge and experience of high-voltage electrical systems are preferred;
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming is preferred;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork spirit, stress tolerance and perseverance;
- Good English communication skills; additional German language capability is preferred;
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and internationally
